Summaries of articles, documents, and reports on key issues that affect the general business environment and overall trade and investment relationship. For example, stories relating to “The Coming Pandemic” from Avian Influenza/Bird Flu, the Joint Statement between the United States and Vietnam on the Occasion of the Prime Minister’s Visit to the U.S., Vietnam’s WTO Accession, etc.

The summaries provide KEY POINTS and a link to the article itself. Sometimes there will be a link to background information documents on the issue as well.

Position papers provide the carefully considered views and recommendations of AmCham on common business interests directed toward the improvement of business conditions with respect to trade and investment between the United States and Vietnam.
