Event Description
Start the new year with a discussion with Vietnam’s fintech leaders: Momo Co-founder and Executive Vice Chairman Diep Nguyen; Timo CEO Henry Nguyen; and TVS Managing Director and Finhay and Momo investor Thao Nguyen to learn expert insights about prospects for Vietnam’s dynamic fintech market.
Whether you are in the fintech sector or not, its development likely will affect how your company operates and how you go about your daily life in Vietnam.
Vietnam is forecast to be the fastest grouping fintech market in Southeast Asia. With mobile phone use by more than 80% of the population and low bank penetration through the country, Vietnam already had high potential for fintech growth. COVID lockdowns accelerated this growth. In December, with $200 million of Series E funding led by Shihuzu Bank, e-wallet Momo’s valuation reportedly crossed $2 billion as it became the fourth tech unicorn in Vietnam, joining VNG, VNPay, and Sky Mavis.
Join this panel of experts, together with Moderator Capital Markets and Financial Services Committee Co-Chair and VinaCapital Head of Business Development Eric Levinson, to learn more about the outlook for fintech in Vietnam in 2022.
Panel discussion followed by networking cocktail reception. Virtual participation also possible. Register now!
