Event Description
The Los Angeles Business Council will organize an exclusive, high-level business and city government mission, led by L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, to HCMC with expertise in urban design, architecture, smart city technology, energy, health care, finance, entertainment, education, and real estate.
The purpose of the Mission is to promote foreign investment, trade, and tourism, as well as to increase elducational and cultural exchanges between the two Pacific Rim cities. The Mission will also visit Tokyo and Seoul to meet with key government and business leaders and discuss policies concerning trade, resiliency, transportation, climate, innovation and sustainable urban design.
L.A. Business Council Sustainablility Summit 10th Anniversary
AmCham and the LABC will organize a lunch on July 30 to support net-working for mission members with companies in HCMC, and introduce business opportunities in the key sectors. At the event, we will sign an MOU to launch a “Sustainable Economies Alliance.”
The Mission includes 14 members from city government, including Deputy Mayor & Ambassador Nina Hachigian, Director of International Trade Felipe Cusnir, President & CEO of LA Tourism & Convention Board Ernest Wooden, SVP of Business Affairs of LA Tourism Patti MacJennett. In addition, the Mission will include 27 business representatives, successful entrepreneurs and senior executives.
