Protecting Manufacturing and Supply Chains from Forced Labor: AmChams of Asia Pacific Virtual Door Knock with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (Oct 25 at 0800 SG)
“You’re responsible for knowing your supply chain,” said AnnMarie Highsmith, the executive assistant commissioner at CBP. “If you fail in this regard and don’t take this responsibility seriously, there are financial, reputational, and legal risks.”
With an increasing focus on forced labor in supply chains from government, investors, and the broader stakeholder community, this session gives AAP members direct access to the decision and policy makers and the opportunity to share their first-hand perspective.
This session will focus on the enforcement of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act as well as actions taken both in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.
