Event Description
March 2025 is the deadline for a total of 2,166 facilities to conduct greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, an increase of 254 establishments compared to the previous year. Sectors impacted by the directive include energy, transportation, manufacturing/industry, agriculture and forestry, and waste management. AmCham ESG Committee invites you to a half-day workshop led by legal, sustainability, and green finance professionals on practical and actionable solutions for large emitters to meet compliance standards and unlock financing to support your strategies to reduce emissions.

Ms. Lâm Nguyễn Hoàng Thảo
Senior Associate, Russin Vecchi Thao has over 10 years of experience in the international energy industry as both a petroleum engineer and researcher, as well as a lawyer specializing in renewable and new energy sectors, focusing on environmental policies in Vietnam and globally. Began her career at Schlumberger, a global leader in oilfield services, Thao gained her technical expertise and extensive field experience. Transitioning into legal practice, she now serves as a key lawyer at Russin & Vecchi Vietnam on renewable energy projects, energy transition, and compliance with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks. Thao has authored and contributed to nearly 20 articles on energy policies, renewable energy, and sustainable development for prominent magazines and economic forums. Her deep understanding of energy regulations, combined with hands-on industry experience, positions her as a thought leader bridging technical, legal, and policy gaps in the rapidly evolving energy sector. |
Mr. Nguyễn Võ Trường An
Deputy CEO, Carbon Credit Transaction Platform ASEAN (CCTPA) As Deputy CEO of CCTPA, An advises on the development of the carbon market in Vietnam and ASEAN, with expertise in building and managing carbon trading platforms and related financial products. He has extensive experience in carbon credits, and in advising businesses and organizations of the carbon market. An holds multiple certificates, including in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking, CEO Leadership. He previously worked as a strategic advisor on carbon credit projects and has a Master’s in Engineering from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, specializing in nuclear physics and energy. |
Ms. Nguyễn Phúc Minh Dương
Technical Manager, Softlines Laboratory, TÜV Rheinland Vietnam As a Polymer Chemical engineer, Ms. Duong has many years of experience in manufacturing, testing and certification. Currently, Ms. Duong is an auditor for the international environmental management system – ISO 14001 standard, as well as an auditor and trainer approved by Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Organization (ZDHC) to conduct assessments and training for chemical management programs according to the standards of the textile and footwear industry. Along with TÜV Rheinland’s commitment and leading strategy for sustainable development, Ms. Duong has completed training courses as well as implemented projects on calculating and certifying greenhouse gas emissions in the organization, with ISO 14064-1 project; ISO 14064-2 and ISO 14064-3 greenhouse gas reporting verification method. In addition, Ms. Duong also participates in training courses on calculating carbon emissions per unit of product (PCF), carbon neutrality, and calculating emissions for a product life cycle (LCA). To accompany businesses on the roadmap of sustainable development, Ms Duong also regularly joins in sharing sessions on calculation methods as well as the process of verifying a greenhouse gas report for businesses to fulfil current trends. |
