Dr. Gian Tu Trung
Founder & Chairman of PACE Institute of Management Dr. Gian Tu Trung is the Founder and Chairman of PACE Institute of Management. He is also the President of IRED Institute of Education in Vietnam. He currently serves as Vice President of Phan Chau Trinh Cultural Foundation. Dr. Gian has led the establishment and development of a number of non-profit education projects, including Annual GoodBooks Award, IPL Scholarship for Young Leaders, OpenEdu Initiative for Self-Leaners, TopSkills Education for University Students, and PLEMS Education for School Students. He is also the author of “In Search of The Truth – A Perspective on Enlightenment of Our Time” (Đúng Việc – Một góc nhìn về câu chuyện khai minh) book. Gian Tu Trung holds an International Master in Development Studies (IMAS) from The Graduate Institute Geneva. He holds a Doctoral degree in Education from National Institute of Education Singapore (NIE), and a Doctoral degree in Education from Institute of Education, University College London (UCL). |

Partner, Baker McKenzie Nguyen Thuy Hang is a Partner in Baker McKenzie’s Ho Chi Minh city office. Her practice focuses on Employment and Labor, Compliance and Investigation, Corporate Restructuring and Reorganization, and general M&A. She is one of the few Vietnamese lawyers dually admitted to practice law in New York State and Vietnam. Ms. Nguyen has been assisting in various compliance investigation and advice. During her 13 years with Baker McKenzie, she has worked in the Vietnam, Barcelona and London offices. In 1996, I joined Merck & Co., a US pharmaceutical company as Executive Assistant to General Manager. In 2000, I have transferred to HR role to in charge general HR for Vietnam; Starting early 2003, I have moved to HR management level in various industries of Advertising and Retail. In November 2005, I joined HR2B as Branch Manager Hanoi and successfully set up the office and Search team there. In 2007, I returned to HCMC to lead and develop this larger Search team. In July 2010, HR2B acquired the Contracting service business from Navigos Group, my role changed to Business Development Director. In January 2015 my role changed again as I accepted the position of Managing Director HR2B Global, the As an active member of Amcham HR Committee, Eurocham, and the Vietnam HR Group, HR Association in Vietnam, I have developed and maintained a strong network in the HR and business community nationwide Viet Nam. |

Tax Partner, Deloitte Vietnam Chief Talent Officer Hoang is the Tax Partner and Chief Talent Officer of Deloitte Vietnam. Hoang has 25 years of experience in international tax planning, tax advisory, tax controversy, tax compliance, as well as strategic finance and business advisory services to the needs of multinational businesses operating in Vietnam in a wide variety of industries such as consumer, banking and financial services, trading, real estate, manufacturing, oil & gas, and telecom. Hoang has led various tax initiatives for MNE’s operations in Vietnam, as well as group structuring and due diligence for foreign investors and foreign invested entities in Vietnam. Hoang actively contributes comments and recommendations to the Ministry of Finance regarding draft tax regulations via the Vietnam Business Forum, Vietnam Tax Consultants Association (VTCA) and other organizations. Hoang regularly speaks at Tax Dialogue event alongside a representative of the Minister of Finance and leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City tax authority. Mr. Daan van Rossum
Chief Executive Officer, FlexOS Daan van Rossum is the CEO at FlexOS, the platform that helps companies in South-East Asia get people together again in the world of hybrid work. All to help them with their key challenge: to attract, engage and retain the best talent in the market. He also does this as CEO for Dreamplex, the leading Workplace Experience provider. Dreamplex started in 2015 as a coworking space and has since transformed itself into the leading workplace experience provider; partnering with companies such as Tiki, Topica, PR Newswire, eBay and Samsung. He does this with a team of over 50 workplace strategy, tech, design, hospitality and employee experience specialists – including the GWA “International Community Manager of the Year 2020.” Prior to leading FlexOS and Dreamplex, Daan worked as a Regional Strategy & Innovation Director for marketing firm Ogilvy across their Amsterdam, New York, Chicago, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City offices, after which he ran his own startup. |

Mr. Scott Gregory, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer, Hogan Assessment Systems As Hogan’s CEO, Scott brings years of expertise in executive selection, development, and succession to his leadership and vision for all aspects of Hogan’s domestic and global business. Scott was one of the first employees of Hogan Assessment Systems and completed his Ph.D. training under Bob and Joyce Hogan, the firm’s founders. His work on the firm’s foundational assessments led to extensive experience in several global consulting firms and a 12-year stint as vice president of talent management and OD for Pentair, a global manufacturing business, where he was responsible for global management and executive recruiting, selection, development, and succession planning. He returned to Hogan in 2013 to continue to help clients leverage the science of personality. Scott is a frequent speaker on personality in the workplace, and his thought leadership has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Fortune, and other global publications. Ms. Mary Tarnowka
Executive Director, AmCham Vietnam Mary Tarnowka joined AmCham Vietnam as Executive Director in August 2019.
